Jamie first got introduced to yoga to fulfill a fitness course requirement during college. She figured it would be a way to decompress and relax in the midst of her everyday chaos. Yoga quickly become a go-to when she needed to find peace of mind or had been sitting in front of a computer screen for a little too long. After discovering CrossFit and falling completely and totally in love with pushing everything to the limit, yoga evolved from being just a fun activity to an absolute essential in healing and self-care. Realizing that others might also find it beneficial to practice a little mindfulness while taking care of overworked muscles, Jamie got her yoga certification so that she could pair her love of yoga with her love of CrossFit and pass it on to others!

CrossFit-ting (at Stealth, of course!) as well as cooking/baking, eating, browsing Reddit, watching horror movies, and enjoying life!
ADVICE FOR SOMEONE WANTING TO START CROSSFIT
Despite common belief…you don’t have to be flexible! Everybody starts somewhere and flexibility is not necessary in the least. Those that feel like they “can’t” are usually the ones that should! Also, I never take myself too seriously. It’s not that serious…it’s only yoga! It can be totally goofy at times. Smile, laugh, have fun! Take the time to unwind and you’ll be happier in the end!
